FECKENHAM finally return to action at The Entaco thanks to some heroic efforts from groundsman Steve Dipple and crowned the occasion with an enthralling 4-3 win over Knowle FC in Midland League Division Two.
Karl Fellows fired Knowle into an early lead but Feckenham fought back to lead 2-1 by the break.
Danny Murphy looked destined to equalise but instead struck the crossbar and post before Jack Brimmell followed up - only to fire wide.
Feckenham eventually levelled when Ben Ellicott set up Murphy to score.
Ellicott was also the architect of Feckenham's second goal, but this time it was Brimmell who stepped up to score.
Knowle hit back after the break to make it 2-2 when Craine converted with a header.
Brimmell then bagged his second goal to put Feckenham back in front before Matt Green supplied a fourth goal on 79 minutes.
There was still time for Craine to convert his second goal for Knowle to set up a tense final few minutes but Feckenham held firm.
Feckenham face Fairfield Villa on Thursday night in the Evesham Hospital Cup.
The winners will take on Alcester Town in the semi-finals on Saturday while losers visit Barnt Green Spartak in a Midland League Division Two match.
