INKBERROW trainer Tom Gretton enjoyed a fine week as he fired in a double success.
First Jackthejourneyman made all to bag victory under jockey James Davies in a handicap chase at Huntingdon over two miles and half a furlong last Monday.
The nine-year-old never saw a rival as he won at 5/1 to secure a third career victory.
With the yard in fine form, Gretton then sent out Lickpenny Larry just six days later to take a maiden career victory at Plumpton.
The seven-year-old grey won the novices' handicap chase over two miles and one furlong in heavy conditions on Sunday.
Jockey Robbie Dunne also made all on the 3/1 shot who powered home to win by five lengths for owner Alan Clarke.
The quick-fire double for Gretton and his team at Middle Bouts Farm adds to the notable successes of progressive novice chaser Kauto Riko this season.
