FORMIDABLE Feckenham twice came from behind to clinch a 4-2 win at high flying Knowle and climb to sixth spot in midland League Division Two.

Feckenham fell behind in the first half after goalkeeper Josh Goddard saved the initial shot but couldn't keep out from the rebound.

But Feckenham fought back to level before half time, Robbie Davies racing to the by-line before crossing for Ben Welsh to fire home with a first time shot.

Feckenham then fell 2-1 behind in the second half following some good play from Knowle's full back.

The introduction of new signing Matt Green was the signal for the Millers to turn matters around.

Welsh capitalised on a defensive mishap to make it 2-2 when prodding home before Ben Ellicot put the Millers ahead after capitalising on a sloppy back pass.

Feckenham were forcing the pace by this stage and they fired in a fourth goal on 80 minutes when Umit Eminoglu's precision free kick from fully 28 yards out looped over Knowle's defensive wall and into the net.

It was no more than Feckenham deserved as they bossed the latter stages of the game.

Feckenham now look to progress in the President's Cup this Saturday when they entertain Bloxwich town at The Entaco, Studley Sports and Social Club.

Both sides will be bidding to reach the semi-final stage with the game kicking off at the earlier time of 1.45pm.
