ALCESTER warmed up for their Midlands 4 West South campaign with a 27-10 success at Berkswell and Balsall's second string.
Although winger Tom Goddard put Alcester ahead with a first half try, Berkswell battled back to lead 10-5 at half time.
The second half saw Alcester take charge with 22 unanswered points.
Skipper Jack Green snapped up a second try which he also converted before winger Dom Evans added a third try.
Prop Jack Horton plundered a further try while second row Louis Smith completed the scoring.
Alcester commence their league programme with a trip to Bromyard on Saturday.
