NEW-look Studley kept their top four hopes in the Midlands League Division One alive with a 3-1 win over Stafford.
A brace for Sean Williams and one for Joshua McKenzie ensured the Bees recorded their first league win since November 25.
Victory was impressive as a host of new faces including Dave Rimmer, Nathan Jackson and James Tindall are still settling into the team since joining in recent weeks.
While Highgate United have a healthy lead over the sides below at the top, the teams between second and sixth place are separated by just seven points.
Joint manager Kevin Kingham said: "It was a good performance and we never really looked in trouble.
"The new lads are still settling into the team so there is more to come from the team as well.
"We're targetting finishing in the top four this season and the table is very tight, Bromsgrove Sporting have done well and Hinckley are also flying so it's going to be close."
Studley are still looking to bolster squad numbers with one more player.
The Bees, who played Alvis Sporting on Tuesday night, go to Southam United in the league on Saturday (3pm ko).
