ALVECHURCH have complained to the FA about Bromsgrove Sporting for a second time after they signed striker Andy Nicol this week.
The Churchmen are incensed that the Rouslers had secured goal-machine Nicol without putting in a seven-day request to them.
Nicol had left Alvechurch in September and been playing for Midland Combination Division One side Fairfield Villa since September.
He went onto score nine goals in 10 games and attract the attention of a host of clubs.
Sporting submitted the bid to Fairfield, who waived the seven days, but Alvechurch insist they hold the striker’s registration and have written a letter complaining to Worcestershire FA.
Alvechurch had already reported their neighbours over Elliott Nash, who moved to the Victoria Ground last month.
Club secretary Steve Denny said: “At the start of the season, we helped out Sporting by waiving the seven days when they signed Tom Elder, Luke Dugmore and Alistair Crawford.
“But we weren’t happy they signed Elliott, who missed two games and didn’t tell the manager he was leaving.
“We complained to the FA over that and now this has happened.”
Meanwhile, they earned a vital point at Midland Alliance high-flyers Bridgnorth and nearly took all three in Saturday’s 2-2 draw.
In an enthralling opening half, which saw three goals in the opening four minutes, the in-form Jazz Luckie bagged a brace as the away side came from behind twice.
Their opponents were then reduced to 10 men in the 51st minute after Jason Pike was sent off for two bookable offences.
Alvechurch are on a great run of form with just two defeats in 10 and they will be aiming to stretch their unbeaten run to five games against bottom side Ellesmere Rangers at home on Saturday (3pm ko).
