BROMSGROVE Sporting have completed the signing of Dan Sweeney from Southern League Premier neighbours Redditch United for the 2022/23 season.
Sweeney was one of a few players revealed by Sporting on Tuesday night after they confirmed George Forsyth, Joe Curtis, Johno Atherton and Ryan Pryce had agreed to becoming Rouslers.
Striker Sweeney scored 13 league goals for Redditch last season but has opted for a switch to Sporting.
The blow was slightly softened for Redditch after they revealed their defensive duo of Ryan Wollacott and Calum Flanagan have agreed to new deals.
The pair were heralded as two of the best in the league and so will be a big boost for manager Matt Clarke.
They also confirmed that the likes of Kieran Boucher, Lewis Hudson, Robbie Bunn, Jack Byrne, Aram Soleman and Kieren Donnelly have signed up for the new campaign.
