REDDITCH commence the Worcestershire County Cricket League at home to Evesham (noon start) on the back of a testing pre-season.
Against Manchester-based Didsbury, the Kingfishers fell short in a high-scoring run chase.
The visitors had made 281-8, with Waqas Ali taking three wickets. Despite Tom Field hitting 103, the hosts completed their 50 overs on 221-7.
On Saturday, they went down by six wickets to Stratford after being dismissed for 101.
The Warwickshire made 103-4 in reply.
Meanwhile, Studley defeated Feckeham by 100 runs at the weekend.
Barrie Forester-Smith hit 83 runs as Studley recorded 226-5. Ben Ellicot took four wickets as Feckenham were removed for 126. They entertain Coleshill in the Warwick League on Saturday.
