REDDITCH retained their Worcestershire Division One status with a strong end.
Four wins in their final five matches made sure of safety, while James Davies topped the first team rankings.
The fourths overcame Droitwich by the narrowest of margins 3-2 to take second spot and with it promotion to Division Two.
Great credit to the squad of Neville Drumm, Rob Hawker, John Hague, John Tomlinson, Richard Beaumont, Alan Mucklow, Mike Davies and Gordon Wilkie.
Redditch’s third team suffered relegation to Division Three after a difficult campaign.
Andy Schofield’s team will be one of the favourites to bounce straight back up next term. Another favourite for next season will be Redditch seconds, who achieved a solid fourth place this campaign in Division Two.
