PAUL Smith reckons Studley will be looking sharp when they finally return after a lengthy break from action.
While the Bees have not kicked a ball in anger in the Midland Combination for an extended period because of the recent heavy rain and storms, they have had a secret weapon.
The 3G pitch at the club’s ground has allowed them to keep sharp with friendlies and they defeated Coleshill Town 4-3 on Saturday.
Midfielder Reece Hewitt bagged a hat-trick and new signing Ricardo Richards the other goal.
Manager Smith said: “After such a long time without games means teams will be rusty but we’ve played four Saturdays in a row.”
Studley go to Racing Club Warwick in the league on Saturday (3pm ko).
