INKBERROW Eagles Girls under-11s are poised to successfully defend the Ron Handy Memorial Shield Cup after reaching the final for what is the second year in a row.
They will be hoping to retain the title they won last year at Malvern Town FC.
The girls booked their place in the final after a hard fought semi-final against Redditch United which saw the Eagles win 3-0.
Demi Bates opened the scoring at the end of the first half.
Further goals in the second half from Grace Godwin and Abi Smith sealed the victory.
The Eagles will now face Droitwich Spa or St Johns Colts in the final.
They are also currently top of the Mercian League.
The team is made up from girls who all attend local Redditch schools and are managed by Paul Godwin and Mark Wilkinson.
