MY mother, Hilda George (Anne), was hospitalised for three months at the Alexandra before passing away at Heathbrook Nursing Home.
I would like to thank all the staff on Ward 5 for treating her so well.
They treated her as if she was part of their family.
And even though it was in their own time, four of the girls turned up for her funeral.
How anyone can run this hospital down is beyond me, they are the most kind people I have ever met.
