RECENTLY Redditch Labour councillors have been complaining about swingeing cuts from Government.

How reassuring it is that this is not a problem in Redditch.

There’s no shortage of money in the council budget, which has been clearly illustrated by the use of taxpayer’s money on a standards board investigation costing over £1,500.

May I suggest to the Labour Party that they learn to accept that in politics the opposition are going to hold you to account and say things you might not like.

There would I am sure have been a better use for £1,500 plus the cost of all the officer time which was spent on this matter.
