Inner Wheel Club of Redditch
The ladies of Redditch Inner Wheel Club have been busy this Spring.
They have knitted and crocheted blanket squares, Twiddlemuffs. Teddies and children's clothing, all donated via International Aid to those in need.
We have held monthly meetings with speakers as varied as collecting needle cases to Making Violins.
A group attended the National Annual Conference in Nottingham and some attended a local Rally to raise money for the Bees Abroad Batwa Project, whereby the Batwa tribes are being funded and trained in beekeeping to enable them to become self-sufficient.
At home we continue to support the Redditch Food Bank with monthly donations and many local charities have benefitted from the money raised by holding regular social events.
The new president, Kate Roberts 01527 450382 would be delighted to hear from any ladies who may be interested in attending the monthly meetings held at Redditch Golf Club.
