HUNDREDS of pounds worth of damage has been caused to Bordesley Hall in Alvechurch after thieves stole lead from its roof.
The 19th century country house was targeted between 12.20am on Friday, February 9, and 8am on Monday, February 12.
Pc Simon Albutt from Alvechurch and Wythall Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "A large quantity of lead has been stolen off the roof area of Bordesley Hall, costing hundreds of pounds of damage to the roof and to replace the lead.
"We at Alvechurch and Wythall local policing team are asking for anybody to come forward if they seen anything or have any kind of information, they can contact us on 101 and quoting crime number 22/12638/18 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
