BUSINESSES taking part in Bromsgrove District Council’s Promote Yourself campaign can now enjoy the fruits of their labours.

New signs confirm that Bromsgrove Motor Village’s Regal Peugeot and Toyota Westlands have sponsored three road islands, and champions of local business thebestof bromsgrove has sponsored one more.

As a result of the sponsorships, new planting on the adopted Buntsford Hill, Puddlewharf, Slideslow and Sherwood Road roundabouts and around the district is able to take place.

Bromsgrove council is running the Promote Yourself campaign to provide opportunities for local businesses to raise their profile and enhance the appearance of the district.

Other businesses already promoting themselves through the campaign are Webbs of Wychbold, which sponsored new livery for a district recycling vehicle, and LittleHeath Nurseries, at Lickey End, which donated trees for Bromsgrove and Rubery.

Councillor Janice Boswell, the council’s champion for promotions, sponsorship and public events, said: “The roundabouts look lovely – they really brighten up the road. And not just that, the sponsors have clearly recognised a good opportunity to promote their businesses in partnership with our council.”

Tim Mayneord of Regal Toyota, said: “With over fifty years of working in Bromsgrove, we at Regal are most proud of our local area and the community we serve. Helping to raise the profile and appearance of Bromsgrove is the obvious thing to do. ”
