TIME Team and Blackadder star Sir Tony Robinson spent almost two hours at the Malvern charity ARCOS during a recent visit.
Sir Tony, who has been in town to appear in a production at Malvern Theatres, met some of the charity's clients, spoke to staff and viewed videos of its work.
ARCOS provides support for people of all ages who have difficulties in communication and/or eating, drinking and swallowing.
Kay Coombes, the charity's founder, said: "Sir Tony has supported our work for a long time. In the 1990s, then plain Tony Robinson, he provided the voice over on two DVDs showing something of our work."
Sir Tony said: "I’m a big fan of ARCOS. Most of us take our ability to communicate for granted but if we lose that skill a whole world is closed to us. ARCOS helps give this world back to those who’ve lost it and along with it they re-find their confidence and self-esteem."
