MODEL and games enthusiasts are being invited to a new table-top wargaming club.
The club, which plays battles using hand-painted miniature scale models, meets on a Monday night in Walkwood.
Stuart Davies, organiser, said: “Anyone can come along (our current members range in age from 12 to the wrong side of 40) and there are plenty of willing volunteers to show people the ropes.
“No prior knowledge or experience is required, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.”
He added: “If people have models, terrain, rules, dice, etc then they are encouraged to bring them along, but we can provide pretty much everything they need to try a new game out.
“Hopefully it will be a chance to make some new friends and participate in a social gaming activity.”
The club meets at the Windmill Community Centre on Rye Grass Lane in Walkwood, from 7-10pm.
The first session is free, then it’s £2 per week for adults, and £1.50 for under 16s.
