POLICE in Redditch are appealing for the owners of some "lovely fragrant plants" to get in touch.
More than a dozen of the plants were found in the open, in the Batchley area, by a member of the public.
The man's dog sniffed out the plants and the police were called.
Posting on Facebook, police said: "If you're missing your lovely fragrant plants, that you hid in a field, give us a call and we can have a chat about it."
Rather disappointingly they added: "Don't think you'll be getting them back though..."
If you are the owner of the plants, you can call police on 101.
