A TEENAGER and a 20-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary after they were caught fleeing from a failed raid in Hollywood.
Police were alerted to the duo by a homeowner on Douglas Road at 1.04am on Monday, August 7, after they heard intruders in the rear garden and saw a security light activate.
Control room staff immediately dispatched police into the area where the suspects were stopped by police, before they attempted to flee.
Officers caught the duo and carried out a search at the scene, finding them to be in possession of various items and equipped to commit a crime.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: “A 16-year-old boy of no fixed abode and a 20-year-old man from Birmingham have both been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and with going equipped.
“They have both been released under investigation.”
