EMERGENCY services' staff are urging drivers to be cautious after an overnight dusting of snow.
Drivers can expect ice on some of the roads and also outbreaks of sleet and snow, according to a Met Office warning.
Some residents were doubtful that it would snow and expressed their surprise at finding a sprinkling this morning.
West Mercia Police recently issued driving advice in anticipation the snowy weather.
A highways spokesman said gritters covered the roads with salt 'around the clock' last night.
