A MAN has been taken to hospital after he became trapped in barbed wire.
The incident, which occured late yesterday evening (Tuesday, July 19), took place on the roof of a building on Throckmorton Road in Redditch.
A fire engine from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene to help free the victim.
Crews from West Midlands Ambulance Service then took him to hospital.
A spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.18pm at Throckmorton Road last night and an ambulance attended.
"There was a patient trapped on the roof of a building.
"At 7.45pm the patient was brought down on and put on an ambulance to Alexandra Hospital."
The extent of his injuries are not yet known.
