REDDITCH Police are appealing for information after a burglar raided a shed and made off with a garden strimmer.
At 10.50pm on Saturday, July 16, a crook entered the rear garden area of a property in Feckenham Road, Headless Cross, via an insecure gate and entered an unlocked shed. They made off with a McAllister blue and black strimmer.
The offender is described as male, 35 to 40 years, 5 feet tall and carrying a torch. He was wearing dark coloured jacket with reflective strips.
PC Richard Field said: "There have been a number of similar offences over the last couple of weeks and we have increased patrols to stop these offences. We would urge anyone who saw this person to contact the police. We would also ask for the public's help, if they see anything suspicious in the area to call the police"
Anyone with information is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident 279s of July 17.
