YOUNGSTERS are being invited to complete a special competition at Studley Garden Centre during National Children's Gardening Week.
The Garden Trail is taking place from May 28 to June 5 and every child who finds 10 pictures of plants around the centre, both inside and outside, will receive a free packet of seeds.
Studley Garden Centre manager Paul Williams said: "Inspiring children to enjoy plants and gardening at an
early age has many benefits that can last a lifetime.
"It’s a fun, healthy hobby that promotes responsibility as children learn to look after their very own plants,
develop a love of nature and an understanding of where fresh food comes from and how it can be used to
create yummy meals."
There will also be information packs on fun activities, including growing the tallest sunflower in the family or growing pizza toppings.
Entry forms can be collected from the tills.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Seeds are subject to availability.
