A CAR only suffered from minor damage yesterday afternoon (January 31) after it crashed into a house in Redditch.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from the town’s fire station were alerted to and attended the incident in Chedworth Close at about 2.48pm.
Although the car suffered from minor damage, the impact did not cause any structural damage to the house and the car was recovered by fire service personnel.
Later in the afternoon, at about 4.48pm, the Redditch crew were sent out to Moons Moat after reports of a pedal cycle which was on fire.
The crews used water from a nearby stream to extinguish the flames.
