A FUN dog show, a large variety of stalls and homemade cakes will all be under one roof for a charity event being held at Mappleborough Green Village Hall later in the year.
The Edward Foundation, an organisation helping at risk pure-bred British Bulldogs, is staging the fundraiser on Sunday, December 6 from 10.30am.
Last year organisers held a similar event and raised more than £1,000 for the charity.
All dogs are welcome to attend and there will be a range of stalls catering for their canine needs with cupcakes, treats, collars and holistic and herbal treatments available to purchase.
For their owners there will be a raffle, bottle tombola, name the Bulldog soft toy, guess the weight of a Christmas Bulldog themed cake and refreshments.
The charity, which relies solely on donations, was formed after a group of people on a Bulldog owners forum were made aware of a dog, later renamed Edward, in a terrible condition.
The group raised funds to help save him inspiring them to set up the charity.
