POLICE are trying to trace a cyclist who was in collision with a woman on a pavement in Redditch but failed to stop.
The pedestrian, Kim Sarson, was near Bridge Surgery, in Headless Cross, walking towards the chemist, on Wednesday, January 14, at 5.30pm, when she was in collision with a man who was riding a bike on the pavement.
Her head collided with the cyclist, and she fell to her knees, but he failed to stop and carried on in the direction of Astwood Bank.
She received two black eyes, grazing to her forehead and a bloodied nose.
She said she felt dreadful since the attack, has needed time off work for concussion, and "wanted an apology" from the cyclist, who was wearing all dark clothing and on a mountain bike.
Police say they are treating the incident as an assault and are studying CCTV.
Anyone who has information about the incident should contact police on 101, quoting incident 115 of January 15.
