Get involved with Redditch Beaver group

First published in Local

THE 1st Redditch Scout Group is looking for boys and girls aged six to eight, for its Beavers group, as well as adults to lead the Beavers.

Beavers take part in lots of different activities to help develop their skills, they earn badges, play games, and most of all, enjoy having fun and making friends.

They take part in trips out and sleepovers, and activities such as archery and walks.

As well as new young members, 1st Redditch Scouts are also looking for Beaver leaders and section assistants who could help lead and develop the group's Beaver section.

A spokesman said: "Commitment is required from volunteers, but the time and commitment is adaptable to suit individuals, and formal and informal training and support is available for all volunteers."

Anyone interested can call James McAuliffe on 07710475278, or pop along and see me at out group fete on Saturday, June 21 from noon onwards, at the scout hut in Harris Close, Greenlands B98 7PP.
