SEVERAL current and former students from Kingsley College, Redditch, attended a special awards evening on Tuesday, December 17, to celebrate achievements during the last academic year.
Jack Hands, a former head student and parliamentary researcher to Reddidtch MP Karen Lumley, presented trophies, books, certificates and vouchers to Kingsley students who had shown academic effort and excellence.
A number of awards were also presented to students who had made an outstanding contribution in a variety of extra-curricular activities.
The evening of prize giving was supported by talented Kingsley students who opened the event with a musical introduction.
Headteacher Stephen Brownlow said: “There are a great many things to celebrate within the school and this was an opportunity for us to congratulate the students who make such great contributions."
