Councillor Brunner starts clearing up cans

Councillor Brunner starts clearing up cans

First published in Local

WHILE out walking her dogs in the playing field near her Matchborough home, Councillor Juliet Brunner was shocked to come across what she described as a ‘drinking den’ hidden in bushes.

She said: “I was most surprised to find more than 100 beer cans in the bushes. I normally come across dog poo. I would just ask residents to vigilant and report any problems to the police.”

The cans have since been cleared up by Coun Brunner and her family and she has notified her Local Policing Team and asked them to monitor the area for any antisocial behaviour.

Look like theyve just been tipped there. Thats not a "den" its a small piece of grass under a bush!!!

"I normally come accross dog poo" she says, which itself is a crime I thought , if not picked up..

Maybe she just wants people to marvel at her new hat.

She doesn't get out and about much in Redditch, does she, if a sight like that surprises her? Is there an election coming up?
