MEN in Redditch were putting their best foot forward this week to raise awareness for domestic violence.
The men took part in a walk around Redditch town centre for the ‘These Heels are Made for Walking’ campaign, walking a mile in women’s shoes as a public pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about domestic abuse and sexual violence against women or girls.
The walkers were supported by Redditch firefighters, council staff, staff from Stonham domestic abuse service and staff fro SureStart.
Councillors Bill Hartnett and Brandon Clayton also put their heels on for the event.
