A SLIMMING World consultant from Alcester has proved she's a gem after winning the ruby award for her work in helping to tackle obesity in the area.
Becky Barber was delighted to receive the prize after recruiting 40 new members to her club, which meets at the Jubilee Centre, in just one month.
After losing two stone with Slimming World herself, she set up her own group in January and members have now lost 121 stone between them.
The accolade means Mrs Barber is now a Ruby Consultant.
Mrs Barber said: "I'm delighted to have achieved this award. Rubies are known for being beautiful but they're also one of the hardest natural gems, and that's what I'm most proud of because I'm taking this award as recognition of how hard I work to support every single one of my members to achieve their weight loss goals.
"I truly believe I have the best, most rewarding job in the world there's no better feeling than helping someone to feel good about themselves so winning this award really is the 'ruby red' cherry on top."
