TWO car parks in Woodrow will be temporarily closed for a day next week while essential maintenance work is carried out.
The car parks, situated off Doverdale and Cropthorne Close, will be closed on Wednesday, August 19 from 8am until 4pm so that work to repaint the parking bays can be completed as the sites were resurfaced earlier in the year.
Residents and other users of the car park are advised to remove their vehicles the night before to reduce the likelihood of access issues in the morning.
Matthew Mead, senior engineering technician for Redditch Borough Council, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to residents whilst the work is taking place and hope to get it completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
“The works will mean that residents can make the best use of the car park in the future.”
