A COOKHILL man died as a result of an industrial disease a Worcestershire coroner has ruled.
William Sanderson Swan, aged 78, of Church Lane died of a sarcomatoid mesothelioma, a type of cancer often caused by asbestos.
Mr Swann's health deteriorated and he was admitted into St Richard's Hospice in Worcester where he declined and died on May 29.
An inquest opened on Monday, June 1 and closed on Thursday, June 4.
