ALCESTER Nursery in St Faiths Road is set to host bingo night to help raise money to buy equipment for its youngsters.

The fundraiser will be held at Alcester Members Club on Friday, March 20, starting at 7pm.

£1 will be payable on the door and there will also be a raffle.

The event is open to the public and a range of prizes donated by local businesses are up for grabs.

Helen Crook, volunteer and executive director at the nursery, said: “The bingo nights are always great fun and support our fantastic nursery.

“My two year old daughter absolutely loves the nursery and my son, who left to start primary school last September, loves coming back to the nursery for after school club.”

The nursery is a registered charity and provides childcare to children in Alcester and the surrounding area.

It also holds breakfast and after-school clubs to nursery children and local primary-age children.

The nursery, which is rated Outstanding by Ofsted, offers 55 full and part time places to youngsters aged two to four.
