REGULAR customers who bought Christmas cards from Bidford-based David Baker Funeral Directors have helped to raise almost £310 for Shakespeare Hospice.
The funds were collected from the sale of festive cards and gifts sold on behalf of the hospice by the funeral home at the Buy in Bidford Christmas Fayre and from the funeral home's office leading up to Christmas.
Gabby Sanchez from David Baker Funeral Directors said: "We have for several years been selling cards on behalf of the hospice and we are over the moon with the generosity of local people from Bidford and the surrounding areas who took the trouble to attend the Fayre and to call in to the funeral home in the High Street to make their purchases. "Many come back year after year as they appreciate what a good cause the hospice is."
