Tourism to Tanzania conference at Redditch Town Hall

DISCOVERING more about Tourism to Tanzania – Making a Success of it, is the theme of a day seminar at Redditch Town Hall on Saturday, October 13 from 9.30am-4pm. 

It is being arranged jointly by the Redditch One World Link/Friends of Mtwara in association with the Britain-Tanzania Society.

Speakers will be drawn from the Tanzania Tourist Board, various twinning associations and other groups maintaining links with Tanzania. Topics to be considered include Tanzania as a tourist destination, education visits, developing links and tourism. 

The cost of the day is £6.50 plus a donation for lunch. Visitors are warmly invited.

I really hate trying to make logic with no evidence to back it up, but I think a group of high paid people got together for a glass of wine and sat chatting away about a development program (Didn't matter where it was) and the country Tanzania got thrown into the conversation and they were all like "Oh yes, yes rather, rather" Or someone had slipped through the network and got given ear time to come up with this very VERY odd program because they may have financial interests in that country for themselves and could make a quick buck off the backs of other people under the veil of charity and good will. But hey, if it all goes to pot at least the £6.50 will line someones pockets. Really?....Tanzania.
