WHILST people all over the country celebrate momentuous events taking place in London this year, residents in Crabbs Cross will have an additional reason to celebrate.
Crabbs Cross Methodist Church will mark its 200 year anniversary on May 20. Beginning in April, church organisers have planned a series of services and events including concerts by local choirs, a flower festival, barbeque, barn dance and exhibition of memorabilia.
If anyone, whether current church-goer or not, has a particular memory to share, such as a wedding, christening, Sunday school, youth club or other activity, they can e-mail babsbaker@blueyonder.co.uk.
