THE Feckenham and Astwood Bank magazine for March contains fuller particulars than have previously been given on the division and re-arrangement of the old parish of Feckenham and the formation of Astwood Bank into a Bishop of Worcester’s district.
Following the resignation of the Rev E Havergal the Rev R Verity resigned the curacy of Astwood Bank and proposed joining the Rev L Sladen at Kidderminster.
This arrangement was entirely altered by a request from the Bishop of the diocese that Mr Verity should continue at Astwood Bank and become responsible for the new district.
Mr Verity accepted the offer and is now responsible for all money charges in the district.
