Crimestoppers is offering a £20,000 reward for key information on an attempted murder in Redditch.

Three men are wanted in connection with the incident on Ombersley Close which saw two of them shooting at one another over a car with a bullet penetrating the vehicle.

The attempted murder happened on Tuesday, March 26 at around 1.08pm with one of the males then proceeding to enter local residents' gardens and knocking on doors asking to enter.

Another wanted male was believed to be on an electric bike with all three men fleeing the scene shortly afterwards.

Alan Edwards, West Midlands Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: "Incidents like this can be very concerning for those that live locally and our charity believes that everybody has the right to feel safe.

"We encourage anybody who knows what happened and who was involved, to talk to Crimestoppers 100% anonymously at any time. We are independent of the police and people have been trusting us with their information since we started over 35 years ago.

"Our charity hopes that by appealing for information given anonymously and offering a reward, this could avoid somebody coming to harm in the future."

Crimestoppers is now supporting the investigation by offering a reward of up to £20,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those linked to the incident.

Information passed directly onto police will not qualify for the reward which is available for three months and due to expire on August 8.

Crimestoppers guarentees complete anonymity meaning people who call or contact them online can pass on what they know without giving any personal details.

Computer IP addresses are never traced, telephone calls are never recorded, there is no caller line display and no 1471 facility.
