Redditch properties have been without water since the early hours of this morning.
Issues of loss of supplies and poor water pressure were reported around 1am today (Friday May 3).
Severn Trent Water has apologised to customers and said the issue is due to essential repair work it is carrying out on Easenhall Lane.
The firm said supplies should be back by noon.
Severn Trent Water said: "We’d like to apologise to those experiencing poorer water pressure or no supply in the B98 area of Redditch this morning.
"Our teams are carrying out some essential repair work on Easenhall Lane.
"Although we didn’t anticipate this affecting our customers, we are aware that some customer’s supplies have now been impacted.
"The team on site are committed to getting this resolved quickly and efficiently so the water supply is back to normal as soon as possible.
"We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing and are confident this repair will be completed by 12pm."
