Police have issued a warning to drivers after items were stolen from a vehicle in Redditch. 

West Mercia Police said there had been another report of unknown offenders breaking into a car and taking items that were inside the vehicle. 

The latest incident happened in the Matchborough area. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property including where possible removing all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended.

"We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.

"If you have information about any suspected crime, please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk.
