TWO Redditch schools are set to receive government funding for building improvement projects.
Feckenham CofE Primary School and Walkwood Church of England Middle School are set to receive a slice of £456m from the government’s Condition Improvement Fund.
They are two of the more than 1,000 school building improvement projects across the country to receive the green light from the government.
Rachel Maclean, MP for Redditch, said: “With the Government putting more money into schools than ever before, Arrow Vale High School being selected as part of the School Rebuilding Programme, and with two more schools benefitting from the Condition Improvement Fund, we are well and truly levelling up school funding in Redditch and the Villages, just as I promised to do.
“It’s essential every child in Redditch and the Villages has access to a first-class education and schools which are maintained to the highest standards.”
