Even more big names have signed up to the Worcester News Jobs Fair.

The Jobs and Careers Fair is making a welcome return to the Guildhall in the High Street, Worcester, next week.

Sponsored by Worcester BID, entry to the event is free for job seekers.

The NHS, Worcester City Council, Amcor Flexibles, Hewett Recruitment, and Hayes Recruitment have now signed up to exhibit at the event in their bid to recruit staff.

They join those companies and organisations which have already been announced - Ashwell Home Care Services, Step by Step Recruitment, A-Plan Insurance, the Army, West Mercia Police and Freedom Leisure.

The exhibitors will be looking to recruit a combination of full-time, part-time, permanent, seasonal and voluntary roles.

Regional editor Stephanie Preece said: "We are delighted to have some big employers like the NHS, city council, West Mercia Police and Freedom Leisure at this event.

"The Jobs Fair will be a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking for a change in career or starting out.

"Please come along and talk to our exhibitors about employment opportunities in this wonderful region."

Worcester BID Chief Executive Sam McCarthy said: “We are thrilled to partner with the Worcester News Jobs Fair. Supporting the businesses that make our city great.

"We will be organising a support hub as part of the event offering CV writing advice, interview support, apprenticeships packages, training courses and perks to working within the city centre.

"We look forward to welcoming you in October and supporting your business.”

The Worcester News Jobs Fair takes place between 10am and 5pm on Thursday, October 13.

The October fair is an ideal place for local employers to talk to job seekers - whether they are looking for skilled full-time workers, seasonal staff or casual employees.

A wide variety of sectors will be represented from healthcare providers to retailers, manufacturing to administration and lots more in between!

There are still a couple of places left if any employers are interested in exhibiting at the event - contact Andy Stephens at andy.stephens@newsquest.co.uk or call 01905 742351.
