A NEW centre has opened in Redditch to help unemployed people back into work.

Workpays has launched their latest centre in Redditch to provide access to employment services.

The firm has opened a permanent based at the Old Needleworks on Britten Street, following its recent launch in Worcester last November.

The centre will provide job seekers with a work coach who will help them with training, upskilling, job searching and preparation.

Alex Glasner, Managing Director of Workpays, said: “Our presence in Worcestershire has been really positive so far and the new office in Redditch will mean that more jobseekers are able to get our support. Local companies are crying out for people to join their teams, and we’ll be working closely with employers to help them find suitable candidates.”

It comes as job vacancies hit a record high of 1.22 million between September 2021 and November 2021, according to figures from Workpays.
