POPULAR Yogi Buggi sessions in Redditch are set to continue to keep parents fit this winter.

Yogi Buggi, which is a yoga and buggy fusion workout, began in the spring after chiefs at Redditch Borough Council surveyed new parents to see what would encourage them to get fit and healthy.

With the winter months approaching, the classes will move indoors from Stitch Meadow at Arrow Valley Park to The Abbey Stadium sports hall.

The indoor sessions will start on Tuesday November 2 at 9.15am and will run every Tuesday for an hour.

An Abbey Stadium membership is not needed and each session costs £3.50 which can be paid online via the council’s website. Any newcomers can try the first session for free to see if the class is right for them.

Hayley Gwilliam, said: “The sessions have been going really well and it’s great to have like-minded parents working out together, at their own level, not needing to worry about finding someone to look after their little one while they exercise. Yogi Buggi is a fun and active workout to do with or without a baby/buggy and I hope that the sessions continue to help keep Redditch parents fit - and fabulous - throughout the winter months.”
