A CAREER clinic is set to visit Redditch Library to support young people who have received exam results this week.
In partnership with the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, Worcestershire County Council are hosting events both in person and virtually to help talk through the choices available post A-level, GCSE and BTEC results.
The in person careers event is to arrive at Redditch Library on August 25 from 10am to midday.
Councillor Marc Bayliss, cabinet member with responsibility for economy and skills at Worcestershire County Council said, “Receiving exam results is a key milestone but knowing what to do next after your exam results can feel overwhelming.
"In Worcestershire we are lucky enough to have many resources available through Careers Worcs to help you consider the options available to you, whether you received the results you were expecting or not.
“The Careers Worcs events are an excellent way for young people to consider different career paths and figure out the most successful path for them.”

Free webinars will also be held on 17 August and 19 August 3pm-4pm which will talk attendees through all of the options, whether your exam results mean you can no longer attend your first option of post 16 education, or whether you haven’t yet decided what you want to do next.
Gary Woodman, chief executive of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “During this time it is important for young people to know there is support on offer to help them decide their next steps.
"The Careers Worcestershire team are providing essential webinars and clinics across the county to highlight all the possible options for as many people as possible.
"Whether you are a young person or know a young person collecting their results, I would encourage you to make them aware of this support, and the other additional support available through the Skills4Worcestershire website to help the creation of our future workforces.”
