THE bandstand in Church Green will be coming alive with activity as the next event in the program gets a holiday fun feel.

There will be Bhangra entertainment by Eternal Taal, a stunning Hula Hoop Show from Angie Mack, Karate demos by local club Tang Soo Do, workshops, face painting, craft activities and much more for visitors to enjoy.

Councillor Mike Rouse, whose portfolio covers leisure and cultural services, said: “As a parent myself, who is looking for affordable ways to keep my children entertained over the summer, I am really looking forward to what’s on show.

"My eldest daughter will love the Bhangra display in particular as she has been doing that at school. I hope other families across Redditch and beyond will come and enjoy the day out with us and the rest of our lovely community.”

The event will run from noon to 4pm on Saturday, August 11.

Outdoor performances are subject to change/cancellation due to adverse weather conditions.

It is free to attend any of the bandstand events.
