YOUNGSTERS from all over Redditch are getting to try out their culinary skills at Redditch Youth House this summer with fun cookery sessions.
The Cook n' Eat sessions are running throughout the holidays and offer 11 to 17-year-olds the opportunity to make their own lunch from scratch.
Groups get given the choice of what they would like to cook and then spend time in the kitchen, working with raw ingredients to produce dishes from all over the world, before they get to sit down and tuck in to their creations.
The sessions are keeping healthy diets in mind but still ensure that food is fun, steering away from using anything pre-prepared or putting burgers and chips on the menu.
Instead, recipies will be using fresh ingredients to produce delicious meals, giving teenagers the chance to gain confidence in their own culinary abilities.
Cook n' Eat is running every Friday throughout the holidays from noon-2pm. For more details, call Redditch Youth House on 63821.
