INFORMATION is being sought by police following an incident in Redditch which left a woman "shocked and embarrassed".

At about 4.10pm last Wednesday a woman was walking along Bromsgrove Road towards Webheath.

As she looked right to cross the road near Pitcheroak Woods, she noticed a 4x4 coming towards her. Once the vehicle had passed, she crossed the road and the same 4x4 turned around and drew up near her.

The man inside it asked her for directions to Studley which she gave him.

He then commented on how hot it was and pointed down at his trousers, which were unzipped. The woman then carried on walking and the man drove off towards Redditch town centre.

The car is said to be a large burgundy coloured 4x4 with an oval shape grille in the middle of the bonnet and a new style number plate, possibly starting with the letters KB or KN.

The driver was white, in his late 40s to mid 50s, between 5ft 7-5ft 9ins tall with a medium build.

He had dark brown spiky hair which was short at the sides but not gelled and a reddish complexion.

He was wearing gold rimmed glasses, a light blue long sleeved shirt and navy blue suit trousers.

Pc Kirsty Bullock, from Redditch police, said: "Although the man did not actually expose himself to the woman, he caused her embarrassment and shock by encouraging her to look down when his trousers weren't fastened."
